Documents are often private, so we built PDFixed to need as little of your data as possible. The safest file is one that never leaves your device — and that is exactly how our free tools work.

All of our free tools, including Merge, Split, Compress, Protect, Unlock, Edit, Sign and OCR PDF, run entirely inside your web browser. Your files are opened and changed on your own computer or phone, and they are never uploaded to our servers. The software and language files the tools need are served from our own website. When you close the page, your files are gone from the tool.

pdfixed.com uses HTTPS, so everything that travels between your browser and our website is encrypted. Look for the padlock in your browser’s address bar.

Files you send to our experts through the contact form are deleted from our server automatically after 30 days, or sooner if you ask. Files you send by email are deleted within the same time.

Only the people working on your job can see your files. We use them only for the work you asked for, and we never share them or use them for anything else. We are happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for confidential documents.

If you think you have found a security problem on pdfixed.com, please email info@pdfixed.com with the details. We will look into it quickly and let you know what we find. Please do not share the issue publicly until we have had a chance to fix it.
